Do you remember...

September!

September at ACC

Imperceivable, but the nights are already getting longer. Time to plan the season's ending festivities.

September 13: Boys and Girls night

This is an evening where Boys & Girls of ACC re-group after summer holidays to recollect all the cricketing fun they had during spring and summer, at and away from ACC, and to share stories of their summer holidays with their friends. The ACC Board also takes this opportunity to recognize & reward our home-grown youth talent. All will be combined with some cricket (if weather permits), fun games for players & parents. The evening ends with drinks & dinner before we meet again in winter training.

September 21: Mancunian Cup & Season ending event

Traditionally, mixed teams consisting of members of all competitive teams at ACC battle it out for the Mancunian Cup. This year, we will combine this with the annual season ending event, where special achievements like centuries, five-fers and hattricks will be awarded. Please join us all for an active tournament, a celebration of cricket achievements and a tasty barbecue to finish the cricket season at a high/

September 27-29: ACC – VRA test match (this year played at VRA)

The swan song of the season is formed by the annual time game between the lower teams of ACC (headed by Zomi captain Ezzat Muhseni) and VRA, who will start play Friday at 15h00, and play until time is called Sunday at 18h00. This year the venue is at our rivals and neighbours of VRA

If you wondered: the Very-Odd tournament is only played in odd years, and will return in 2025.

We hope to see many of you to end the season in a high!
